I am a third generation native of Wilmington and I provide a local’s unique knowledge of the area for all clients. I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2000. Prior to my real estate career, I was a preschool teacher for many years. I truly love what I do! I work for Intracoastal Realty, the leading real estate company in the area, as a member of the Rising Tide Team.

I was born and raised in Hickory, NC. I began spending my summers at Oak Island, NC at the age of seven - that is when I fell in love with the beach. I attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and graduated in 1993 with a major in Communications. After graduation I moved back to Hickory with my fiancee and we found ourselves in the car every weekend headed for the coast! The chance to move back to Wilmington presented itself in 2002. Since my move back to the coast, I have been the Sales Manager for a local marine dealership. I have managed to find plenty of time to fish and visit the beach with my family. As much as I enjoy being around boats, I could not resist the opportunity to join Intracoastal Realty. My wife and two boys love the area as much as I do, and I look forward to being here for the rest of my days.

My husband Gene and I found our passion in our local real estate market. We moved here by choice and love to help others do the same. Wilmington and our local beaches are beautiful! Our lifestyle is self-paced, you decide whether to hustle or be laid back! We accept all kinds of personalities here! Growing up in the mountains of North Carolina in Asheville, I was surrounded by beauty. Yet the beauty of the ocean pulled me like a magnet to Wilmington in 1989. I attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Graduating in 1993 with a major in Communications, I became engaged and we moved west to the foothills of the mountains. We lived in my husband’s hometown for nine years, burning up interstate 40 eastbound. The coast and all it offers continued to draw us back to Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach. The opportunity to move back to Wilmington in 2002 opened up to our family and we jumped on it. The privilege to stay home with our two boys has been such a joy. However, once they began school my time became open to other possibilities. My husband, also a broker with Intracoastal Realty encouraged me to earn my Real Estate license and begin a career with the company. Learning the market and becoming even better acquainted with the “bubble” I live in has proven to exceed my expectations. Eastern North Carolina is a great place to be. The coast of North Carolina will always be home to me.
